Meet Emily Ball, she  chose a career in philanthropy because she believes giving back is one of the most powerful things a person can do.

As Director of Philanthropy at the KGH Foundation, she has spent over 10 years in the not-for-profit sector working alongside an incredibly generous community of donors who are transforming healthcare in the Southern Interior of BC.

For Emily, philanthropy means more than just raising funds. It’s about building relationships, creating connection, and showing people how their generosity changes lives. She’s deeply passionate about meaningful donor engagement and believes it’s every charitable organization’s responsibility to ensure that donors see and feel the extraordinary impact of their giving.
With more than a decade in the sector, Emily approaches her work with heart and intention. She believes in honoring every contribution, big or small, because when donors feel valued and connected to the mission, they become part of something bigger than themselves.

When she’s not working, you’ll find Emily exploring Okanagan trails with her Greyhound and Bernese Mountain Dog, at a yoga class, biking, enjoying a glass of local wine, or discovering hidden gems throughout the region.
