Open Board Positions

Positions on the Board of Directors are for two-year terms. If you are interested in becoming part of this dynamic team, please submit an application through the link below.

Sponsorship Director: Solicit sponsors for season and events; coordinate door/silent auction/raffle prizes and vendor tables for each event; manage relationships with sponsor partners; attend all KWIB Board meetings and events.

Treasurer: Create yearly and event specific budgets; prepare monthly financial reports and reconcile expenses; manage collection of payments and facilitate bank deposits; attend all KWIB Board meetings and events.

Secretary/Governance: Develop and distribute agenda for each Board meeting; take minutes at Board meetings and share action items; spearhead annual AGM and ensure all legal requirements and filings are met; provide guidance on all governance matters; attend all KWIB Board meetings and events.

Membership Director: Respond to all membership inquiries and welcome new members; host registration table at all events; create Member Features and blogs; monitor Membership Offers and Perks; attend all KWIB Board meetings and events.

Marketing Director: Create monthly newsletters; manage and update KWIB website (WordPress); create content calendar; liaise with event photographers and provide a shot list; create event slide deck; attend all KWIB Board meetings and events.

Social Media Director: Post regularly on KWIB social media platforms (FB, IG, LinkedIn); manage private Facebook group moderator; create content calendar; take video/photos at KWIB events for social media and stories; attend all KWIB Board meetings and events.

Ambassador: KWIB Ambassadors are non-voting positions for women who would like to be part of our team and assist with events but do not have the capacity for a Board role. Ambassadors are not required to attend Board meetings or attend all events. They receive a complimentary membership, reduced prices to events, and recognition at events and on our website.
