We provide our community personal development, mentorship, networking and collaboration opportunities. We support our members with additional value-add services to enable the achievement of their personal and professional goals. We give back to our community through charitable donations and financial bursaries.

We are confident, passionate women who lead by example and advocate the values of diversity, inclusion, and community over competition.

Kelowna Women in Business (KWIB) is a not-for-profit Society, providing a voice and community for female entrepreneurs and professionals in Kelowna and the surrounding areas. Run entirely by a team of dedicated volunteer Directors, we host monthly sessions and enjoyable social events, featuring a variety of high-caliber female speakers and business-building opportunities. Our aim is to create a varied collective of women supporting women, while providing as many educational events, workshops, early morning coffee and member-hosted meetup’s, and networking collaborations as possible. Our annual AGM is held each January; Director positions are open to the public at various times and voted on by the standing KWIB Board of Directors.

We understand the importance of creating impact and giving back to the community; KWIB adopts a local charity or not-for-profit affiliation to partner with each year. Portions of all Membership fees, event tickets, and special fundraising events go directly to our charity of choice, and help to fund our Young Women in Education Bursary program.
