“Our power is in our diversity, and with diversity comes new knowledge and new truths.”
In honour of International Women’s Day, we’re hosting an evening of life lessons learned by local women – an insightful open panel discussion!
The focus of this event is to highlight the many facets of successes and challenges that women in our business climate face. This event also is a time for us to give back to the Kelowna community; a portion of your proceeds for this event goes to KARIS Support Society – an organization providing a loving home for women struggling with addictions and mental health challenges. Additionally, this event provides an opportunity for Women in Business members and their guests to create networking and professional connections within our growing community.
Our panel include passionate female entrepreneurs who are making a strong impact in our city. We’ll hear stories about their struggles and victories in business, leading them to where they are today. Our panelists will discuss the challenges and benefits of being a female professional, and how they’ve grown to achieve phenomenal success!
Here are a few questions you can expect to hear our panelists touch on:
*What inspires and motivates them
*How they continue to attract their niche
*How they’ve built their brands
*Lessons learned from failure
*What life/work balance key tips work for them
*How they’ve become effective leaders
*Who they look to for mentorship
*What advice they’d give young women starting out
*What they’re most excited for in 2018
